About the Bon Air Area Branch

The Bon Air Area, Virginia branch of the American Association of University Women was established in 1976. In keeping with AAUW's mission we are dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls.

We meet every month from September to May, usually on the second Tuesday of the month but occasionally on weekends. Visit our Calendar for a full view of upcoming activities for the program year.

Our fund-raisers help us donate to the AAUW Educational Foundation (EF) and the AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund (LAF), organizations which provide grants and scholarships to women and help women seeking judicial redress for sexual discrimination. Visit our Foundations page for more information.

We are located just south of the James River and new members are always welcome from anywhere in the area. Visit our Membership page to learn how to join us!

AAUW Bon Air Area is a branch of the American Association of University Women and is a Section 501 (c)(4) organization.
